Noah's Ark
The world has seen great judgment once.

The story of Noah's Ark is a real event which caused real death at world-scale.

Except for Noah, his wife, and his three sons and their wives (eight people.)

Judgment Drew Near
What was it like in those days?
  • All others followed the pleasures of their heart (except for Noah)
  • They were exceedingly wicked as scripture tells us: "When the Lord God saw the extent of human wickedness, and that the trend and direction of men's lives were only towards evil, 6 he was sorry he had made them. It broke his heart." (Genesis 6:5-6)
  • There was no urgency of impending judgment.
  • There was no precedence for rain; men have not seen it and likely did not believe

  • As we know from reading the story, the rain came and covered the entire earth going above the highest mountain. The world was judged by God for their sin.

    What will Tomorrow Hold?
There may not be a world-wide catastrophe tomorrow like the Flood.

The world will be judged again, though, during tribulation.

    But, what about you?

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

In case you have not heard the story, Jesus became a man, lived a sinless life, died a death of crucifixion for our sins, and raised Himself from the dead three days later; He now sits at the right hand of the Father.

Why? To save the human race. Jesus is the savior of the world.
From what? We are born into a sin nature and separated from God.

This is the most important question you will ever have to contend with:
Who do you say (and believe) that Jesus is?

The answer to this question will determine your eternity: Heaven or Hell.

And don't be naive, you could die today. Our days on this earth are numbered and we do not know when they will suddenly draw to an end.
